Lovely jacket awaiting its first light wash to remove a surfeit of indigo.

Very disappointing. the jacket looks nice, but the dye quality is terrible. it stains my hands blue immediately, even without wearing it. after several washes, it still bleeds heavily. this is not real indigo — just cheap, poorly fixed pigment. definitely not worth the price and i would not buy it again.

Absolutely loving this sashiko jacket. The fit is spot on, the design is clean, and the texture/quality is seriously impressive for what it is. That classic indigo sashiko weave just hits different in person.
Yes, the indigo does bleed a bit but honestly, that’s part of the charm with real indigo dyed pieces. It means the jacket will develop beautiful fades over time and truly become unique to how you wear it.

Not worth the trouble for the leeching dye (quite intensely), it's normal from a indigo dye but this one take the crown. the dye used have a really strong smell that will not disappeared, beware. took me a couple of wash to have a clothing that doesnt stain when dry (5 wash). (it's normal for indigo to stain a bit wet, the dye dont adhere to the textile like synthetic dye). the piece of clothing is a lot less satured, the indigo dye use was not made to satured clothing like this textile. for real the smell is really something have to undye completely from the indigo use and redye to have a workable piece of clothing.

Excellent store. Gorgeous items. This is the third jacket made of "Sashiko" fabric. I consulted with the manager regarding the size. I bought many items here. Delivery was earlier than stated. Thank you. I recommend it.
